Special Needs

Brownie is a sweet little princess who is looking for a vacant lap or two. She adores humans who are kind and gentle with her and she will dance on her hind legs to ask for your attention; she also bestows quick little kisses once she knows you a bit. Rescued from the shelter in a state of neglect, Brownie is recovering from flea allergy dermatitis. Her allergy had gone untreated and now she is working on growing back a full coat of fur. She will need to be kept on flea preventative and also an inexpensive medication for her thyroid. House trained and crate trained, Brownie will be a lovely addition to a quiet, Chihuahua-loving home. Brownie can live with other dogs and cats too, but she really wants to be the center of attention and could be very happy as a spoiled 'only child.'  Her age is estimated to be somewhere around 6-8 years. For more information about meeting or adopting Brownie, please visit the AFRP web site and fill out an online adoption application: http://www.animalfriendsrescue.org
