Tabitha is a 5-year-old, 6-pound Chihuahua mix who came to AFRP from the Monterey County Shelter after coming in as an injured stray. Hit by a car, Tabitha sustained a fractured pelvis and was under strict crate rest for eight weeks while her fracture healed. Now in foster care, Tabitha is enjoying her new freedom and enjoys playing with the other dogs in the home and finding a nearby lap for a nice snuggle. Tabitha can be a bit shy upon first meeting, but blossoms once you have gained her trust. She'd do best in a fairly quiet adult home or a family with gentle teens. Adoption Fee Details
Cat adoption fee is $150 which helps to cover the cost of all care the animal has received, including their spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, and FIV/FeLV testing.
Dog adoption fee is $200-$300. The adoption fee helps to cover the cost of the care the animal has received, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and flea treatment.
For special cases, adoption fees are less or waived.
