Boopti

Boopti....rescued from the inner city streets of Richmond. Boopti and nearly 30 other cats were being poisoned, shot at, stoned by kids, hit by cars nearly every two days.  CC4C was called to help, and we helped out as much as possible.  Boopti was about five weeks old, the last out of a litter of kittens to be caught, he spent his last night alone, without mom or siblings.  Perched in the grass, crying and crying, I reached for him and poof, away he shoots again!  Threatening to board up the vacant house he and his family had lived in, I had to leave again overnight, without him, leaving a trap behind and praying hard!  My prayers were answered.  

He is now eight, and is a sweet, sweet boy, who will just have to endure a hard, shy start, with any new person. But well worth the patience! He also gets along with the dog in his foster home.
