Adoptions start with an application that is filled out. Adopters must be over 18 years old, all persons in family must meet the potential new pet. Adoption contracts require a vet visit within ten days. All dogs, cats, and rabbits are spayed or neutered before leaving, and are microchipped, and vaccinated. Cats tested for FeLV,(also FIV if over 6 months), dogs heartworm tested. They have received a flea treatment, wormer, health exam, and behavior eval.
We provide animal control services for the city of Petaluma. We reunite lost pets with their owners, and adopt out pets into loving homes. It is our mission to better the lives of animals and the people who care for them.
Fees for adoption: dogs/cats $104 rabbits $50 small companion animals $5 - $55
